Departmental Profiles

Each year the Office of Institutional Research publishes department-level profile reports that can help departments

  1. learn about their majors
  2. discover how their unit contributes to student success, and
  3. find areas of improvement or places to focus for assessment activities

The information in these reports may be of interest to unit heads, curriculum coordinators, and equity & inclusion committees.

While the reports cannot be published on the Institutional Research public website due to privacy concerns, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) allows university personnel with a "legitimate educational need" to access these data to perform instructional, supervisory, advisory, or administrative duties for the University. To learn more about FERPA please visit the Office of the Registrar's website.
